Description 

Castrol Tribol™ WX Spray (previousy called Optisil™ WX Spray) is a wax-like silicone synthetic lubricant spray, which forms an almost transparent dry lubricating film with good adhesion. It has good compatibility with non-metallic machine elements or materials and outstanding separation ability for tools and workpieces made out of plastics.

Application

Tribol WX Spray can be used in many applications as shown below.

• Textile Industry - Plastic rollers and combs, grippers, bolts and rods of rapier looms.
• Paper and Wood Industries - Cut-off blades for paper and pulp, saw blades, transport chain guides, woodenrails (furniture industry) etc.
• Metal Working Industries - Rolling knives (extended service lives), trimming of sheet metal (ensures smooth,clean edges), cutting of soft metals, non-cutting shaping of special steels.
• Apparatus Engineering and Precision Mechanics - Guides of sliding surfaces, small gears (precisioninstruments, i.e. cameras, office equipment, food processing devices).
• Rubber and Plastic Applications Resp. Processing - Guides, O-rings, cutting of acrylic glass, as a separatingagent for manufacture of transparent casings of industrial batteries and accumulators.
