Castrol Alphasyn™ EP sono lubrificanti sintetici di alta qualità a base di polialfaolefine (PAO) formulati con un pacchetto di additivi EP contenenti zolfo e fosforo, che assicurano una buona stabilità termica ed una elevata capacità di carico.

Applicazioni

Alphasyn EP è una gamma di prodotti per ingranaggi formulata per l'utilizzo in applicazioni in cui sono necessarie proprietà EP ad esempio in tutti i tipi di ingranaggi chiusi compresi quelli molto caricati e i cuscinetti.
Sono adatti all'utilizzo in riduttori e moltiplicatori in cui è richiesta un'elevata resistenza al micro-pitting e per una vasta gamma di applicazioni condotte in ambienti estremi quali ad esempio miniere e cave, applicazioni marine e sistemi di produzione della carta.
L'uso di una base PAO inerente ad un elevato indice di viscosità (VI) e un basso punto di scorrimento, consente l'uso di questi prodotti in un ampio intervallo di temperature.
La gamma Alphasyn EP è compatibile con i materiali delle guarnizioni comunemente utilizzate come nitrile, silicone e fluoripolimeri.
